Dear All at the Council
Apparently, when the police were called to the developer at Padden Brook on Friday the 9th of August 2024, he and his son were charged with several offences regarding their motor vehicles. This would indicate to me that they are not law-abiding citizens. I demand that this issue is treated with diligence from the council, and shall be asking council meeting questions regarding what action is being taken. I know full well how lazy councillors Smart and Clark are, and Mark Roberts doesn’t seem to do much either.
I am on the case gathering evidence, and you know full well that I don’t ever give up in protecting wildlife or human rights.
You remain my humble servants
Sheila

Subject: Appalling treatment of protected species at Padden Brook, Romiley, Stockport
Dear All
On Friday 9th of August there was appalling treatment of protected species at Padden Brook Romiley. As I understand it there was no senior wildlife protection officer available at Stockport Council. Where was Councillor Lisa Smart? Cllr Angela Clark did take some action, but she is not the sharpest knife in the box. The landowner was digging with a bulldozer very close to the site where protected species have lived undisturbed for decades. Local people told him this was illegal within 30 metres but he said if we didn’t leave him alone he would bulldoze the entire area.
As I understand it the council can confiscate his bulldozer which is currently on the site. Apparently he can face a 5,000 pound fine for each crime against a protected species he disturbed and a possible six months prison sentence. I think that should be carried out “pour encourager les autres”.
I expect you to take action against the landowner. The local councillors don’t reply to anything, so I am sending this email to you.
Yours
Sheila Oliver
