Further corroborative evidence regarding my upcoming question about wildlife crime.  Amendments to my question – it was a mechanical digger and it was within 20 metres.  The landowner has been reported to the police by a local resident and was arrested along with his son on Friday 9th of August for vehicle offences.  It was recommended by protected species wildlife experts that he erect a fence around the no-go area, and it can be seen from the various photographs attached  that he has used a mechanical digger within that area.  Only hand tools should have been used and not within the 20 metre exclusion zone  When local residents pointed out he was acting outside the law and endangering the protected species, he said if he wasn’t left in peace he would destroy the whole area.  Sadly, I know from experience that councillors Smart and Clark do not respect wildlife.

Hope you and your team are keeping well.

Kind regards

Sheila
