How did this pass planning?

Bredbury Fire/Pollution Posted on Sat, September 21, 2013 07:26

I note yesterday LibDem Executive Councillor Iain Roberts was flippant on Twitter about the MEN reporter attending a council meeting where this incident was discussed. It is a shame he is, even now, unable to take this massive fire and Dioxin pollution incident seriously. Do we really need someone like Councillor Roberts, who won’t even correctly declare his financial interests, in the important position he holds? I merely ask.

These are the latest round of cuts, but not to LibDem councillor allowances

LibDem Councillors Posted on Sat, September 21, 2013 07:20

According to our excellent Stockport Express local newspaper, the Council intends to “claw back” £27.5million in 2014/15. Obviously, there will be no belt tightening from the LibDem councillors on either their very generous allowances or the lovely, free meals they provided from themselves before meetings, even if those meetings only last ten minutes.

This cutting can be more clearly read here – http://www.sheilaoliver.org/council-smbc.html

Because LibDems have no prinicple they won’t sell out, they can’t understand what matters to people

LibDem Councillors Posted on Sat, September 21, 2013 07:09

LibDems can’t understand what matters to people. If they hadn’t shut down and sold off the land from a large number of primary schools in circa 2006, then we wouldn’t have this school/nursery place problem now. They were all warned at the time of the stupidity of what they were doing.

Lord Goddard. Is there any part of our countryside the LibDems don’t want to concrete over?

Lib Dem Councillors do listen to the public? No, they don’t

Vale View School Posted on Sat, September 21, 2013 06:44

The LibDem Executive Councillors write to the Stockport Express saying they do listen to the public. No, they don’t.

The knew and were shown evidence that they were building the Vale View School far to small, yet in full knowledge of this they signed the contract for the Vale View School. It is an offence under the Fraud Act 2006 to act to deliberately cause someone a loss, and it is an offence under the Fraud Act 2006 to block access to documents which prove a fraudulent act has been committed. The LibDem Executive Councillors have done both these things. As the Vale View School was deliberately built too small, more council taxpayers’ money has had to be spent trying to make Broadstone School big enough to take the shortfall.
