“Figures obtained by the Stockport Express through the Freedom of Information Act reveal £15,000 has been spent on furniture and £2,500 on an interactive electronic whiteboard for Eamonn Boylan’s offices.
The two rooms used by the council chief executive and his two support staff were also painted at a cost of £980 and £2,257 was spent on new carpets before Mr Boylan took over. The refurbishment came out of the council’s property refurbishment budget, which is £1.7m per year.”
