Legally the destruction of these trees can’t begin until mid March

Bypass Posted on Tue, February 24, 2015 20:23

Destruction of our trees, which shouldn’t begin until mid March legally and
today is 24th February, in order to build the corrupt LibDem road for votes.

“The birds have been so noisy this afternoon with all the disruption and
upset to their habitat – when its gone, its gone – shameful”

What will Lisa Smart do now?

Dear Ms Smart

I understand construction of the A6 Airport
road is not allowed to start until mid-March. Apparently trees
are currently being destroyed – this is in the bird nesting season and illegal.
What do you intend to do about this?

Kind regards

Sheila

£350m scheme to solve traffic problems on A6 will cause traffic problems on A6 – LibDem lunacy

Bypass Posted on Sat, February 21, 2015 15:06

Once the LibDem road for votes to the airport is built, there will be traffic problems on the A6, High Lane, Dan Bank, Bredbury and in Cheadle. The only solution to these is to build to road on to the M60 at Bredbury. The last time this scheme was put forward it was to cost £1billion.

Below is a FOIA response from Stockport Council asking what work has been done on costing the scheme to the M60.

Goyt Valley Bypass – SEMMMS

Dear FoI
Officer

Sorry not to have
been in touch. I have been very busy in the run up to the General Election, and
there is much still to do ;o)

My question is given
that Clegg, Alexander and Kramer, Smart and Mr Stunneybuns have been calling in
the press for the Airport Road to be continued to the M60, please supply me with
the Council’s detailed costings for this. I assume the Council has bothered
with this before LibDem politicians start to demand its
construction.

I remember last time
when it was £1billion under PFI and when the cost went up by £250m when it was
Derbyshire’s portfolio and she failed to notice. LibDems eh. What’re they
like?

Lots of
love

Sheila

Dan Bank, High Lane, Hazel Grove and Bredbury traffic will all have worse traffic with the dodgy LibDems’ road for votes.

Drainage problems

Bypass Posted on Fri, February 06, 2015 13:29

I know there is a problem with drainage on the land, as I have told SMBC repeatedly. They never listen.

Condition of existing drainage (incl land

and road) not serviceable for

connection into as required by the

design. Existing network not in a

sufficiently serviceable condition or of

sufficient capacity.

Design phase preparation

works and consultation

activities

Additional costs and

programme delay may

occur

Fingers crossed they don’t.

Sign up on Woodford Rd stating work is starting on bypass in February – it can’t until March 31st

Bypass Posted on Fri, February 06, 2015 10:57

The road cannot be started until 31st March 2015 until the end of the judicial review process notice period.

I have informed the Leader, Councillor Derbyshire, The Council Chief Executive Eamonn Boylan and the Council Solicitor of this today. Let’s hope for once they act within the law.
