“We are applying for funding for plants, tools and training to replace non native and dangerous
species which have been removed by SMBC and to repair the boundary hedge which has many
large gaps and contains non native species.
We will be using the services of the Greater Manchester Ecology Unit to advise us on what
species to plant and where to put them. We will be using the services of a local experienced
hedge layer to train us on hedge laying techniques so we can plant and lay an effective native
boundary to the woods.”
