Pollution had been picked up in the Mersey
coming from Micker Brook.

Seven arches is a Grade 2 engineering listed feature, yet the bottom of one pier was so corroded the steel
wires were showing and bushes growing out of the brickwork. That line
carries the London and Stoke lines. Thousands of folk daily going over it.

Decades
of dumping whatever and high ground waters due to long wet season seem to be
bringing pollution on to the surface. Like a foam deposit – vivid metallic blue – sitting on top of the grass. The grass has now
died.

And red
stuff is appearing on another local grassed area where three streams run
underground from the tip area.

This
is one of the streams which join together just shy of Bruntwood Lane off
Cheadle Rd, Cheadle. The three underground
streams at Ladybridge Cricket Club go under Orrishmere Estate and come out on
Cheadle Golf Course.

Usual filth therein.

Perkins owned part of Lion Farm, Ladybridge Rd; the land
there drains to the now emerged culvert behind Lidl on Councillor Lane.

An old OS map shows one stream – either Birdhall Brook or Lark Hall bBook coming across Adswood Rd, so those
areas too may be drained thus.

Lethally dangerous LibDem Executive Councillors Goddard/Derbyshire/Pantall/Weldon/Meikle/MacAuley/Alexander/Roberts et al say it is “vexatious” to ask questions about a new primary school they put on a lethally contaminated site from which brown asbestos fibres were not removed. I saw this whilst
passing and just wondered how pedestrians were supposed to access their
road.
