LibDem Councillors Posted on Sun, May 09, 2021 06:02This was the state the owners of Offerton Precinct allowed it to get in and then the LibDems decided to compulsory purchase land from Lisburne Lane Garage to give to these precinct owners to redevelop the site. Didn’t any alarm bells ring in the ears of said LibDem councillors? Apparently not.

LibDem Councillors Posted on Sat, May 08, 2021 18:22Ray Preston, local historian, told me that at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution the soil cart used to come round the workers’ cottages collecting excrement and it was dumped at Blackstone, which at that time was on the outskirts of the town.
