I am writing in
response to your request for information (ref FOI 7834) regarding Additional
requests re Bredbury fire. We apologise for the delay in replying to your
request.
Further to your 6
emails of 19/09/13 from 11.38 am – 11.52 and your 2 emails 07/10/13 from 17.08 pm – 18.02 pm, the council has
collated those requests into one response.

“2)
Prior to the approved materials recycling facility being brought into use, a
‘Statement of Operation’ which outlines:
(a)
how the site will operate;
(b)
the maximum volume of waste that will be processed;
(c)
the vehicle movements associated with this operation;
and
which shall be based on the information submitted in support of the
application, shall be submitted to the local planning authority for written
approval. The approved materials recycling facility shall then operate in
accordance with the approved ‘Statement of Operation’ at all times (or such
other statement that may be agreed in writing by the local planning authority).
The volume of waste processed at the facility shall not exceed that outlined in
the Statement of Operation unless otherwise agreed in writing by the local
planning authority.”

approved method statement.”

No part of the development shall be occupied until all works necessary to
prevent landfill gas migration into the development have been approved in
writing by the local planning authority and carried out in full. Following
completion of measures identified in the approved remediation scheme, a
verification report (referred to in PPS23
as a validation report) that demonstrates the effectiveness of the remediation
carried out must be produced, and is subject to the approval in writing of the
local planning authority.
