A John Derbyshire, CPS paralegal officer, states that since the Restraining Order was made the building Ponsony House has been re-named Fred Perry House. What a whopping lie! The current LibDem Leader of Stockport Council is Sue Derbyshire – any relation to the presumably deranged John Derbyshire? Who knows.

Had they admitted that Ponsonby House had been knocked down and replaced with a totally new building Fred Perry House, they couldn’t have implemented the restraining order (which they shouldn’t have done anyway because Mr Parnell was acquitted of the crime for which it was imposed).

CPS kept delaying his trials, so he always had one hanging over him over Christmas, designed to worry and upset him further. I repeatedly drew all this to Kier Starmer’s attention but the CPS’s part in this sorry tale continued unabated. Why did they waste possibly hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money on this? My only guess would be some sort of Masonic back scratching arrangement. Nothing else makes sense to me.

“A litany of non-communication, deliberate or not, failure in all areas of entitlements, payment acknowledgments, demands for non-existent liabilities – the Parnells appear to have been driven by the Council’s actions into problems which should have had no place in their troubled lives. Apart from their courage against the odds, there is no sense of co-operation from a hapless authority (which does echo other situations that have been met with in the same Authority – is this kind of chaos simply explained by a universal malaise in these local government organisations?) and this involves complex legislation, unbelievable incompetence and downright stupidity, bordering on vindictiveness – recalling the previous incidents of access to the town hall, spitting accusations and bullying.”

The town hall protester owes no council tax arrears (I have seen his electronic council tax records held by SMBC), yet they keep hounding him and sending in the bailiffs for money he doesn’t owe. They remove money paid for later years to pay off non-existent earlier years arrears, then claim he owes them money. When he tries to point out in the Magistrates Court that he is up to date and there are no arrears from years ago, he is told they don’t go into “history”.

It is well recognised in law that Magistrates Courts are often not impartial places; certainly not in Stockport.

The Council then claims he owes council tax arrears (he doesn’t, I have seen all his documents regarding this). To sort it out he has to go into the Council at Fred Perry House. If he does this he faces 5 years in prison for every breach of a criminal ASBO imposed on him for a crime he didn’t commit.

If he needs to access Citizens Advice for help this is situated in Fred Perry House. If he enters Fred Perry House he faces 5 years in prison for every breach.

If he writes to the Council they ignore his correspondence.

I asked to be able to act on his behalf and provided a written letter of authority. The Council claimed they never received it. I obtained another one and the FoI Officer refused to accept it. I obtained another one and they briefly allowed me to act on his behalf before then again refusing to let me.

Kafka would have felt very at home in LibDem Stockport.

Could the LibDem Leader have been any more delighted? Why were the CPS pushing (and pushing they were and I witnessed it) for what they knew to be a very sick man to be imprisoned? Mr Parnell went to tough Manchester prison – Forest Bank. Because the other prisoners knew his case involved children and because he was so sick he immediately went to the prison hospital, the prisoners believed he was a paedophile and he was treated as such in prison.

Eventually the prison warders and other prisoners came to know, believe and respect him and they treated him accordingly.

Given that the Council had previously helped drive vulnerable people to suicide, did any of the LibDems in power consider the effect that Mr Parnell’s imprisonment would have on his already troubled daughters and his lovely wife?

Mr Andrew Webb, Director of Children’s Services, is paid circa £142,000 per annum to sort out problems like this. Why didn’t he? Why didn’t the complaints officer Mr Anwar Majothi, whose antics merit an entire page on my website?

I offered to sort out Mr Parnell’s problems in circa 2005, and I could have sorted them out. The Council chose instead to pursue this vicious and vindictive course of action against a complely innocent and gentle man and his family.

Why would Mr. Parnell be in 5 breaches of a restraining order in 2010 when he was acquitted of the crime of assault with a sneeze when the council security guards lied in court?

What on earth is the Council Solicitor, Barry Khan, doing in calling the police hundreds of times to him to enforce a banning order imposed for a crime of which he was acquitted at the Crown Court? Is Barry Khan a fit person to hold public office?
