Stockport Council gets it wrong again. Even the Airport City website says the project will include thousands of sq ft of RETAIL space! ie. it is NOT just about “international trade” as the FoI response below states it is. Is Councillor Roberts too busy Tweeting, working for Mark Hunter and engaged in other work he refuses to declare as an interest to do his job of Executive Councillor for Regeneration properly? I couldn’t possibly comment!

Given that the Airport City development is specifically targeted at international trade, no formal consideration has been given to any potential impact on Stockport town centre.
