Stockport Council News

Back in 2006 they knew the school would be too small. Why build it then?

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:54

“the new school must be built to a 2.5 form of entry specification and no larger..”

“I stress the need for confidentiality”.

“but that you would quietly inform Chris Woollard so he can be working to this effect..”

“This may mean the provision of temporary accommodation initially”… but they knew the birthrate was rising sharply in the area and not falling.

I raised the matter with Goddard, Webb, Majothi, Sager, Schulz, Boylan, Derbyshire, Weldon and Uncle Tom Cobbley. You guessed it – I was being “vexatious”.

Slapped on the legs by Herr von Schulz

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:43

What terrible thing had I done? In a private email to Councillor Bispham, who used to be my friend, I had pointed out that a lady councillor who dressed in the council chamber as if she were going to an Ann Summers party, had upset little old ladies who were present in the public gallery. I also pointed out that men in the public gallery were commenting whether said councillor’s embonpoint was genuine or surgically inflated. I suspect the lady’s breasts were prominently displayed in order to invite comments, which is just what I did.

Why did Herr von Schulz intercept emails not addressed to him?

Still, it stopped him having to answer questions about the toxic waste dump primary school built too small and £5m over budget, didn’t it.

There was no appeal process.

As for his desire to share his letter with the local media, go ahead Schulzy, I said. Make my day. He didn’t.

They are a strange bunch at the top of Stockport Council.

“Sports facilities for community use”. Where are they then?

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:27

I have repeatedly asked where the replacement playing fields are, as stipulated by Sport England must go on the site. It is “vexatious” to raise this matter with Stockport’s LibDems or highly paid panjandrums paid to run our council.

More traffic problems for residents, but they don’t vote LibDem, so who cares?

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:23

Shhhh, if anyone mentions the dangerous traffic situation the LibDems have created around the still gassing toxic waste dump school which was built too small, and £5m overbudget, with no replacement playing fields as stipulated by Sport England, they will immediately be branded “vexatious” across the Internet. It is tough being a Stockport resident under the ruthless and unprincipled LibDems.

Traffic problems for residents, but “vexatious” to mention it

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:19

When there are obvious traffic problems, why is it “vexatious” of me to raise the issue? Dodgy LibDems.

Meeting with Cllr Weldon and Donna Sager to show them school site contaminated

Vale View School Posted on Fri, January 16, 2015 14:14

The Executive Councillor responsible – Weldon and project manager – Sager took no action whatsoever following this meeting (February 2008) to show them evidence of the extent of contamination on the proposed primary school site. They were eventually forced to do contamination investigations (kicking and screaming) but not until October 2009 when they had to prove to a public inquiry that the site was not contaminated. At that time and that time alone they admitted to the contaminated nature of the site.
