Email sent to the Lords Appointments Committee

Email sent to Lords Appointments Committee – 15/8/1508.30

Dear Sirs

I learn with genuine concern that Sir Andrew Stunell may be
in the running for a peerage. He was complicit in the bullying to death
of sick, innocent Mr Parnell aged just 58, who only asked Stockport Council for
counselling for his lovely, troubled daughters adopted from Stockport Council.

Also, as a junior minister at DCLG I provided him with
evidence of planning fraud and corruption by his political cohorts at
Stockport, yet he was wilfully blind to this.

I am happy to supply you with detailed evidence. This man is
definitely unsuitable for such a position and should he be granted a peerage, I
will make sure all this evidence is widely published across the Internet.

Kind regards

Yours faithfully

Sheila Oliver

Email from Leader of Stockport Council 13/7/2009 at 13.05

Hi Sheila

Just to let you
know that Mr Parnell appeared at the Magistrates
Court today for trial. He appeared before District
Judge Berg in relation to an assault on Frank Craughwell.

He was found
guilty. He was fined £150, ordered to pay £250 costs and a surcharge of £15.
The Judge said that he found Frank and Steve to be ‘persuasive and straight
forward’ witnesses. He found Parnell to be ‘evasive’ and that his actions on
the day had been deliberate and provocative.

Mr.Parnell was
given an anti social behaviour order which lasts for 2 years.

What was your
description of him?

By the way
the Magistrates court has nothing whatsoever to do with Stockport Council.

Best Wishes at all
times,

Dave.

As usual avoid the
question if does not suite. You seem make consistent allegations about people,
however Mr. Parnell has been dealt with by the court of the land and found
guilty of assault. I hope you will forward this information to your media
friends, if you don’t be assured I will.

Best Wishes at all
times.

Dear Councillor Goddard

Thanks a lot for your reply –
astonishing to get one.

When I checked with the
courts I was told the Magistrate’s court was run by the Council. Perhaps
I am wrong, perhaps the information was wrong. Anyway events are
progressing nicely.

We now also have to establish
the minute details of the 71 times the police were called, the abandoned court
case last January and the cost of this case.

We shall all see how this
ends – we live in interesting times.

By the way, I note your
LibDem candidate in North Reddish doesn’t feel able to come to meet local
people – that speaks volumes.

With warmest best wishes

Sheila

Email from LibDem Councillor Kevin Hogg

LibDem Councillors Posted on Sat, August 15, 2015 14:56

This is an email from the then LibDem Chair of the Planning Committee at Stockport Council and still on the Planning Committee, firstly suggesting I claim a village green to stop the toxic waste dump school being built (which he voted for at the committee meeting) and then calling Tesco Tosspots. LibDems eh, what’re they like?

Miss Marple

Whoops your`e at it again how dare you upset our lovely
(not)CIC still think the best bet of stopping it is to go for village green
registration it stopped Tosspots why not the council. The decision is also made
out side of planning and I think is delegated to the Area Committee Best wishes

Subject: Harcourt Street

Dear Councillor Hogg

I am currently engaged in Chief Executive fighting, but I
always stand

up to bullies.

Regarding Harcourt Street, the constant mantra is that it
has been land

designated for a new school for 30 years or so. Well, refusal of

planning permission J89 from 7/5/1974 – which is about 30
years ago –

states ” (3) the land is tipped land and is
unsuitable for building.”

One wonders, does one not, why Stockport Council should
declare land

unfit for house building because of toxicity and them
immediately set it

aside as a potential school site.

This barking mad decision has never been questioned in
the intervening

decades.

Kind regards

Dirty, environmentally damaging Stockport LibDems strike again

Reddish Vale Posted on Wed, August 12, 2015 20:04

Text of a letter in the Stockport Express 12/8/15:

“As Chair of the Friends of Reddish Vale, I write about the proposed housing development within the boundaries of the country park, the stated purpose of which is the regeneration of Brinnington.

Our campaign against this infringement of green belt land has been running for two years. Working with Tameside Group we have attended council meetings, organised demonstrations, written letters and handed in a petition which was signed by around 14,000 people.

All of this was judged to be of no avail at The Civil Courts of Justice in Manchester on Tuesday July 28.

I was in court with another member of the friends group and our barrister, Robert Derbyshire, who was acting pro-bono on our behalf. Without his generous help, we would never have been able to bring our case.

In support of the application, the friends had to lodge the sum of £5,000 to show that we were serious. As Friends of the Vale, our purpose is to protect it, so there was no choice.

We were hoping that the judge would grant leave for Judicial Review of the proceedings leading up to the council’s decision to sell of country park land to Countryside Properties for development.

However, it soon became clear that the protection of green space in a predominantly urban area is of little significance when it comes to developer profit. It has never been adequately explained why including part of the country park was essential to make the development viable.

The moral high ground has no argument in a court of law; a judge’s task is to interpret a case of this sort purely on its legal standing based on precedents.

The result was, therefore, sadly predictable and the judge declared our case ‘hopeless’ and said it should never have been brought He further awarded the full capped costs of £5,000 to be paid to the council as a sort of warning to other groups not to obstruct the work of council officers by futile attempts to protect green belt from development.

As a friends group, our income depends on the dedicated work of unpaid volunteers who keep the visitor centre open seven days a week, selling refreshments. We are going to have to see a lot of tea and coffee to make up for this one.

Thank you to all who have supported our campaign.”

LibDems don’t care about High Lane residents

Bypass Posted on Wed, August 12, 2015 19:31

At the decision-making planning meeting, not one of the LibDems on the planning committee gave two hoots over what the High Lane residents were saying about this corrupt road for votes scheme.
