LibDems – Sandringham Road planning shambles.

Sandringham Rd Iffyness Posted on Sun, May 09, 2021 13:11

As so often happens with planning issues in Stockport under the LibDem administration, the needs of local people are trampled over. Their concerns about flooding, contamination, loss of public open space, loss of amenity, traffic issues – all swept under the carpet by the arrogant councillors who held the reins of power. We definitely don’t want them back in control.

No, there is no flooding problem at this car park said the LibDem councillors

No, there are no traffic issues at this site where we want to build houses, said the LibDem councillors. The photos above show what lengths an ambulance had to go to to get through traffic.

Let’s not worry out little heads about contamination at the site said the LibDem councillors, as they often do.

There won’t be any traffic issues when the new houses are built on this site. Are these LibDem councillors insane or just too arrogant to listen?

Mark Hunter MP – no use whatsoever, as expected.

A commuted sum for play area and sports formal sports area.

And this was the outcome and with one bound the LibDems who caused it spring free.

Blue pollution at Sandringham Road

Sandringham Rd Iffyness Posted on Wed, July 06, 2016 19:14

What is this blue pollution at Sandringham Road and why are those responsible for the safety of local residents taking no action?

The
public should be very careful since it’s clearly killing the grass; even where it
appeared seven months ago the grass is struggling to regrow. It can’t be good and
it’s on a kid’s football field.

Did they tell the Environment Agency? Do they ever?

Sandringham Rd Iffyness Posted on Sun, October 06, 2013 15:54

Email sent – 05 September 2012 17:25

Dear FoI Officer

FoI and EIR 2004 request

Please may I have by email the preliminary contamination site report for the above-mentioned planning application, evidence that this development was reported to the Environment Agency and the response of the Environment Agency.

Please may I see documentary evidence that the Council has informed the developers of the site that the land is potentially contaminated.

I shall post up the documents on my website.

Kind regards

Sheila

How the hell did this get through planning?

Sandringham Rd Iffyness Posted on Sat, September 14, 2013 21:29

This was the level of the original flooding problem, which the LibDem councillors chose to ignore and pass the new housing development at Sandringham Road. No consideration whatsoever was given to the flooding problem. Why not? Was the application decided even before it came before the planning committee? I know what I think.

These photos were taken on July 23rd 2013.

Never, ever waste your vote on a LibDem Councillor. They cause you problems and then refuse to help resolve them.

Why would anyone vote LibDem?

Local people are begging LibDem local councillors for help. They are completely useless when things go wrong, even when they themselves have caused the problems.

The photos below show examples of the regular maintenance programme. Human waste exit pipes in home walls; the grids are blocked solid. Shopkeepers are left to poke with stick, and these are food shops. It is causing flooding right outside Orrishmere school. Check out the flood level at kerb.

Some time ago there were terrible floods in Hull. It turned out these were due to the LibDem run council cancelling all unblocking of grids to save money.

The link below is another example of the complete contempt of local councillors for the safety and well-being of local people:-
